Employee in Procurement, Materials Management and Production Planning (m/f/d)
Do you want to do more than just process orders? Do you want to take on responsibility and connect different areas? With us, you will work closely with suppliers, production, warehouse, and other internal departments, ensuring that materials and products are available at the right time.
Your tasks
- Planning and controlling material and production requirements
- Procurement of raw materials, components, cardboard packaging, and operating supplies
- Managing national and international suppliers
- Requesting quotes and negotiating prices, terms, and delivery dates
- Creating and tracking orders as well as monitoring product availability
- Coordinating transports and international goods movements
- Maintaining relevant articles, suppliers, and purchasing data in the ERP system
- Contributing to new products, packaging, and complaints
Your Qualifications
- Completed commercial vocational training, e.g., as an Industrial Clerk, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in procurement, materials management, or production planning is an advantage
- Good English skills for communication with international suppliers
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems
- Commercial understanding and a good sense of prices, quantities, and deadlines
- A structured, careful, and independent way of working
- Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and negotiation skills
- Initiative, a sense of responsibility, and team spirit
